Y’know, Rekd, hyperbole like that is the reason why nobody sane can take the right wing seriously any more. Even if you ignore for the moment the fact that the current damage to the country started under Bush, the good ol’ US of A has been far more damaged than this in the past. What’s Obama done that compares to the Civil War, or to the Great Depression?

I won’t ignore that for even a second. Obama did NOT start the mess we’re in.
Bush did not start the mess we’re in. Clinton didn’t even start it!
But if you think for one minute that Obama is helping to fix things by quadrupling our debt with no means for paying it back except to print more “prosperity”, well, I’ve got a bridge to sell you. 
Not this again.
First, you mean deficit, not debt. The debt took from 1990 till now to quadruple.
Second, the actual quadrupling in the deficit was done under Bush.

FY 2007 - deficit $500,679,000,000
FY 2008 - deficit $1,017,071,000,000
FY 2009 - deficit $1,885,104,000,000
It’s a fact. No matter who you support, Obama did not quadruple the deficit. He lowered it from FY 2009.
Of course, neither he nor Bush directly caused the deficit to increase like that over those two years or caused it to remain at a somewhat lower level since. But if you’re going to throw blame around that loosely make sure it lands on the right target.

The point of throwing blame loosely is you don’t have to bother aiming.
Well Reagan flipped the switch that lit the way for the rich to rule. But following rightys did not do the damage that Bush 2 managed. He was the real destroyer.
He was handed a surplus and a country with a solid financial future and totally fucked it up.
