Is Russia A Threat...What Is Our Diplomatic State With Them?

And a LOT of those Albanian Muslims were there in Afghanistan, killing American soldiers with weapons supplied by NATO.

  1. Plausible, as I have no doubt at least some jihadists come from practically every Muslim country and region, but, still – cite?

  2. If so, that does not mean it was in any way a bad idea to save the Kosovar people when they were threatened with “ethnic cleansing” – which, after all, only tends to inflame jihadism, in cases where the targets are Muslims and the perpetrators are not.

How does that follow?

While I don’t go in the same vein as ralph here, I can’t help but feel that somehow, Ameria has consistently been screwed over by other nations for every good or noble thing we do and always rewarded for anything selfish. Life is weird.

It is well known to be the way of the world that no good deed goes unpunished . . . OTOH, we have not been much rewarded for invading Iraq, have we?

Russia simply wants to have as much say in affairs of states surrounding it as the US has in the affairs of Canada and Mexico, yet it is subjected to a double standard. If Mexico started acting the way Venezuela is acting right now what do you think the US would do? And thats exactly how Ukraine/Georgia etc.. are acting.

Wait, what? How does the US meddle in the affairs of Canada or Mexico? How are Ukraine or Georgia acting like Venezuela?
