I think the people who keep insisting there is evidence he is lying - ignoring all evidence to the contrary - should submit to a proctology exam to prove they are not full of shit.

Not only that, but an explanation of what a DNA test is supposed to prove, given that there is no genetic test for being black. Race is a social construct, not a biological classification.

A DNA test is pretty much useless in the case of someone with mixed ancestry. It can show sub-saharan ancestry, but there’s no one DNA marker which if you have it you’re black and if you dont you’re not.
So a negative will only show he’s of mixed ancestry.
Sorta. They can show a positive, but not prove a negative. If you were say Zulu going back ten generations, that would show up, for example.
Since Shaun sez he’s mixed, a negative would not prove anything.

I think it’s an attempt to bolster the idea that racism doesn’t exist by making it seem like black people don’t exist, and they are all just white-guilt ridden liberals in disguise.
It’s simply a step in claiming that there is no institutional racism anymore, that anyone who claims otherwise is lying, and if “those people” still complain, well, it’s just because they’re worse human beings. It’s been expressed in this very thread.
