It just occured to me that Cheech and/or Chong might have had a Sister Mary Eloise. That name gets a lot of hits on Google.
Well as much as I hate to admit it, that does make sense. I never thought that till you pointed it out though
We used to joke that their “connection to the Big Guy” gave them super strength - sort of like Samson 
When my husband was an undergrad, the Dean of Students at his Catholic college was Sister Feury. Yep, that’s right- Sister Fury! 
My understanding of this was that Cheech actually knew a nun named Sister Mary Oliphant…and changed it to elephant.
