I agree, it isn’t. God exists, God does not exist, we don’t know if God exists.
But as we’ve said about 50 times in this thread, that isn’t the definition of atheism. I believe some God exists, or I lack belief that some God exists. That is binary. That is atheism[EverybodyElse].
Maybe you toggle between belief and lack of belief, but at any moment you are in one state or the other.

Honestly, the worldview of some (but by no means all) Christians is such that they cannot conceive a life in which G*d plays no part. “You don’t believe in God? How can you possibly be happy/moral/whatever other gift He has given you?” is a question atheists get all too often. To my mind it points to shortcomings in the philosophy of the questioner, not the one questioned.
