Is the crust really the healthiest part of bread?

“Waste not, want not.” People who waste so much food deserve to live future lives as starving refugees. Eating the crust (and everything else on your plate) is good for your karma, man.

“and everything else on your plate” is one of the reasons there is a huge obesity problem these days.

Wouldn’t it be more accurate to say the obesity problem is the result of putting too much on plates? Not to forget laziness, of course.

Wasting food is every bit as bad as wasting gasoline, energy or other resources. When you throw away food, you are throwing away the energy which was expended to produce and deliver that food.

Chitlins or chitterlings. At yakiniku places here, called chô.

Menudo, haggis.

I’ve only had menudo and chô, but they’re not that bad. I’m sure there are people who really like them.

The appearance (and taste, and palate) of headcheese is appalling. Lips and assholes indeed. The stuff that goes into hot dogs seems downright yummy compared to that.

I will second Sleel. Yakiniku stands make the hotdogs at 7-11 look like gourmet dinner.

Crusts arn’t heathier. But they do make your hair curly. Everyone knows that.
