Is the F-14 Tomcat considered a delta wing aircraft?

I know it’s officially called a variable wing aircraft but with wings fully swept back would it be considered a delta wing aircraft?

I googled this and apparently nobody else considers this.

I think thats becasue a delta winged craft is considered to be a type of fixed wing plane. The variable winged plane can do just that, vari between delta wing and forward winged.

I think the fact that the wings and horizontal stabilizers aren’t in the same plane, regardless of how the wings are swung would tend to indicate that it’s not a delta-wing plane, and more than likely doesn’t even behave much like one.
