Is the GOP actually screwed up enough to get behind Tucker Carlson?

Oh, please. I know some people are just having fun here but others seem to be taking this seriously.

Trump had been nationally famous for 30 years. Carlson is known by nobody outside of his fan base.

This is in the same category as Trump canceling the election or staging a coup to not leave the office. Or, alternatively, that Michelle Obama would be Biden’s VP. Stop the conspiracy theory shit. It’s embarrassing.

Of course the GOP is “buzzing” about this. That’s what they do. Republicans always think they have a deep bench of amazing, unbeatable candidates (while Democrats are moaning “Ugh, is this the best we can do?” about their choices).

I’ve lost track of all the GOP “dream candidates” who have faceplanted. Remember when Scott Walker was considered unstoppable? Remember when Jeb was the heir to the perpetual Bush dynasty? Remember when Marco Rubio was the Republican savior?

Tucker Carlson is a joke. Once he leaves the secure little bubble of his studio, he’ll crumble like a day-old muffin.

So very true.
