Is "the Law of Averages" About to Catch Up With Me?

I am really starting to become afraid of what life has in store for me, and I’ll tell you why. I am 40 years old, and:
-I do not have concer, heart disease, or lung disease
-I have never been in a car accident (except for a minor fender-bender)
-I have always been employed, and have enjoyed a decent income
-I have never been robbed, assaulted, or burglerized-I have nevr been a victim of any crime
-I haven’t had any accidents at work or at home
So, is the "fickle finger of fate’ about to screw with me? I’ve avoided many of the bad things of life-is it now time for fate to take its revenge on me? Somehow, I can’t help feeling that the averages say that it’s time for me to be getting the shaft! Can any statisticians reassure me?
