Some of the older Straight Dope topics do seem more varied.
I’m not much for trivia I can’t repeat in mixed company, about what bugger DNA is called by the forensics lab (real topic - “nasal secretions”), etc.
Same with the song questions. (Jeez, don’t ask here, search at a song site.)
The answer is to take breaks. I think most posters do.
Then leaf through a few pages of thread titles. Anything nder a couple weeks old can be safely raised, happens every day.
