I’d assume the original work is now in public domain
(Wagner did die in 1883).
Be sure you’re using his arrangement.

I’m not sure if you mean Wagner’s “Bridal Chorus” or Mendelssohn’s “Wedding March Processional”. In either case, the music itself must be out of copyright by now, since the composers died more than 100 years ago. However, any modern recording or performance of the music is likely to be copyrighted.

If you want to tell somebody to stop shouting*, do so in such a manner that they will understand. Do not simply tell a riddle. Some people might not know and some people might actually <i>want</i> to shout. It would be helpful if, next time, you explained your actions. Some people may not have been on message boards long enough to understand their mistakes.
