I personally rely on the 700 club for news that concerns the future. They have been reporting the end of the earth for quite some time and because of them I sold all my stock when the Dow was over 11,000 and put all my money into building a bomb shelter. Boy, wasn’t that a smart move. I’ll be in it tonight when the meteor hits.
Back to the OP, though, there is a far better than 1 in 10 chance that the Earth will be hit by a meteor tonight. In fact, I’d put the number up closer to 99.99999999999999999999% chance. The Earth is hit by meteors every night. A few of them are large enough to even survive until they reach the ground. And they can do real damage: If a typical meteor impacted right in your eye, you might have to blink two or three times before you managed to get it out.
