:: sigh :: Cecil really enjoys these debates about whether he exists, he gets a big kick out of them and thus Staff are not supposed to comment in them. Don’t take our lack of response as having any meaning per se.
Cecil wants his anonymity preserved. He has this notion that if photos were made public, he’d be swarmed by fans every time he went to the grocery store, and have his clothes ripped off. I think this is delusional, but he’s the Boss and he’s an eccentric genius.
I have said before, if Descartes could just barely prove his own existence to himself, how in the world would Cecil prove his existence to you? Even if he wanted to do so, what kind of proof would not be challengable? A photo? I just saw a movie (TWO TOWERS) where the best acting performance was given by a computer-generated image.
Trust me. Cecil exists. Cecil’s writings are perfect (he told us so, and he wouldn’t lie.)
I LOVE this site! I think it’s the music. Inspiring. Makes me feel good that I have friends.
Here at the Institute I’ve been working to prove the “Adams Existence Conjecture”. If I ever get out of the institution, I may be able to do it.
