But this is my point exactly. You CANT separate the two for the simple fact that they are how the religious politicians fake the existance of a god. Without those religious laws, there’s no ‘punishment’ and hence no ‘proof’ of god’s existance. So you can’t drop religious laws and at the same time consider a god to be there - unless… you actually believe in it, and then I dont know what your thinking.
Why do you believe your statement is true? I guess I don’t see what being an atheist or a theist has to do with having some sort of purpose in life. If anything, being a atheist would make you value this life more.
