And there are certainly enough totally worthless rec therapists out there. Taking the kids out to a movie certainly gets you off the hook for a day’s work, but I’m not sure it teaches the kids anything…
…but, then, that ain’t what rec therapy is supposed to be about.
As to fashion modeling… well… models can walk. Mannequins can’t. Therefore, I prefer fashion models wearing the clothes to mannequins wearing the clothes, and toted up and down the runway by sweaty Teamsters…
Master Wang-ka the second half of my post was not aimed to you specifically. I apologize if it seemed to be an attack on you I did not intend it to be such.
We need the traffic control guys. Job must suck, but sometimes it takes a person.
Has any one EVER seen those FASHIONS on a regular person? Yep, my wife is gonna walk into work with her tits hanging out wearing angle wings. Very practical.
I did not consider your post an attack, Krisfer. I regarded it as a rational, polite, respectable difference of opinion. Apology appreciated, but not really necessary.
And I HAVE known some pretty worthless rec therapists. For some reason, though, I don’t seem to know many fashion models…
Am I going to be the only person to point out that fashion modeling apparently has great worth, given the large sums that top fashion models are paid to walk the catwalk?
If walking said catwalk didn’t add to the sales of the fashion designer, he wouldn’t pay the astronomical sums to the model. And if just anyone could do it, the aforementioned catalog models would be prowling the runways for significantly less; why would the designer pay more than he has to if he doesn’t see added value in hiring a top model?
It’s no different than paying top pro athletes large sums. They sell seats; models sell clothes.
Drug Reps. Cheerleaders who never graduated college, or if they did graduate college, whoring out that pre-med or biology degree into a high-paying job pushing overpriced drugs on overworked doctors just so they can think they can afford their Blahniks. The lowest form of life on the planet.
I could be wrong.
