Is there a limit to the number of concepts the brain can attach to an object?

Take an apple. It could be red. It could be food. It could be crisp. Does the brain give up after awhile?

Well, the long and the short of this answer is no. The brain can function on multiple levels with no upper limit in sight. Cognitively you could apply characteristics of the apple to anything.
Appearance…that apple looks like uncle Tommy’s head…
That apple tastes like a falafel I had last year in Turkey.
Conceptually, we could go on and on for hours…
