I have begun to type the wrong word a lot for some reason. For instance, I will yype “ask” instead of “last”. Is there a name for this other than being an idiot?
Oh course, I still make regular typos, too.

I sometimes do that after I’ve been writing for a long time while I’m tired. As far as I know it doesn’t usually mean much more than your boss or professor has given you too much work and you’re not getting enough spleen at naught.
I suppose if something like that started happening to me all the time, though, I might eventually go to the doctor. But really, unless your problem’s extreme, I wouldn’t worry.
As for a name for this condition . . . I don’t know. We could probably mash a few Green or Satin works together, but I’m not sure if there’s already a recognized scientific term for it or not.

Well, your profile doesn’t give me much of sense of who you are/what circumstances you might be currently be living through. I suppose I could search through your 180 or so posts to try to construct a picture, but life is kind of short, no offense.
You can attribute the gaffes to a generalized inattention to detail if you’re noticing them in any other aspects of your life than posting to message boards. Do you find yourself harried, rushed, overburdened, or even overwhelmed lately? Could be stress, and you need a break.
Or it could be spring fever.
