In GQ I’ve been giving xtisme some pointers on solving a work-related issue. This set me thinking, especially as I’m not earning at the moment. While I realise that most matters are on a pro bono basis, if a member were to suggest to another member that they might be willing to help professionally (i.e. for a fee), would The Chicago Reader / Creative Loafing / Whoever have any interest?
While we don’t as a general rule allow wholesale trolling for customers on the board – that would not be appropriate and not appreciated by the community – we do realize that people are professionals and in business for themselves and available for work. To mention that in passing would not be a bad thing, again, as appropriate.
