Is there a way to search for websites with only certain domain extensions?

Like when I go to a search engine and search for something is there a way to only include .org sites?

Google Advanced Search
See Line 5 in the white area below the search terms:

Fill the space (XXXXX) with .org, .com, whitehouse.gov etc. to limit the range of the search.

Here’s an example of domain limited search results: Yahoo Advanced site:.org

Click on “Advanced search” on the right side of Google’s main page. Part way down the next page is a place to select what domain/TLD extension you want to the limit the search to.

Or just append site:org to your search terms on the main google page.
