Is there an alternative to truthfinder to do background checks that charges per check instead of per month

Truthfinder is a good website to do background checks, but they charge a flat fee a month and you get unlimited checks with that.

Is there a website that has the same information, but maybe only charges $1 or $2 per check in case you only need a couple of background checks a month?
