Is this a good telescope for general, amateur sky viewing?

This is a very wide field telescope. It’s ok for doing things like going to really dark sites and scanning the Milky Way, but you’ll be shocked if you use it to look at the Moon; the full Moon is only a fraction of the field of view. Planets are just dots in it.
