I saw this on a Google+ post, that didn’t mention or link to any information about it. Simply uploaded the picture and said it was cool.
I get the feeling it’s an Ikea product, but I honestly have no idea because I’ve never set foot inside of an Ikea.

Looks like my Mayan Apocalypse stash of weapons is going to be used to defend my sofa.
I just did a Google image search for “sofa ottoman pull out” (minus the quotes) and looked until I saw the same product.
And that is a really cool design that I want now.

You’d have to be careful to check before pushing it back in - you just know a furry critter (kitten, ferret, bunny etc.) would curl up and go to sleep in that little nook.

What is the retail price?
There doesn’t appear to be one. You may be able to commission one from the designer, but there’s no retail availability as of yet. I agree, Ikea should pick this one up asap.
If you have to ask, you can’t afford it.

It look great, but maybe there’s a problem. It looks to me like it’s two three legged chairs held together by the backrest. Say you’ve plopped your ass on either side of the center “coffee table” pull out. What is supporting the front inner edge of the big square cushions on either side?
