Is this an English or American golden retriever?

I don’t know much about variants of golden retrievers, just that they are more white when young and that you can tell their future color by their ears, but that English variant is much more white, than the american one. This puppy from an ad I was looking at (born around new year and I think the photo is 2-4 weeks old, so he’s probably about one month old here) seems mostly white everywhere, so is he the English type? https://s20.postimg.org/4c2acax25/IMG_20180211_093552.jpg There are 2 more photos, but all were taken from a similar angle, so there’s no difference in color in them, all look like this photo.

I am still waiting for the owner to answer, but I don’t know if he’ll know the answer, also not that important, but even though I am from east europe, most goldens in ads I saw are actually American, both golden and even redish golden, unfortunately all goldens are far from my city and this is the closest one.

In general, Golden Retriever populations in England wind up with smaller dogs and many more creamy (I have never seen pure white). Just the geographic statistics of the (an) island.

About breeders: I too thought that cream Goldens looked cool and different. But this is an exact quote I remember from a longish phone call with the now ex-President of the US Golden Retriever Society: Run, don’t walk, from any breeder in the US “specializing” in cream Goldens. Tweaking the line, even if a few of the founder dog were asBritish as the Royal Couple, for the genetic color anomaly means “tweaking” to a lesser degree the characteristics the breed has–you know, health, temperament, etc.

How does it pronounce the letter “Z”?

So…which one is the one on the picture? He’s marketed just as a Golden retriever, nothing specific, it’s a regular person selling it, not a club or something and the price is the same as almost all other Goldens here, I am just interested in the color he’ll be later on. I am not trying to buy any specific type, I just want a pure breed Golden and that’s it.

There’s such a thing as white Labs (actually a very pale variant on yellow Labrador retrievers) and the pup in the OP’s picture looks like those.

Hm…they all unfortunately look way too similar, so at least I can’t tell which is which, someone more experienced probably can, but I hope that he didn’t market a Labrador as a Golden retriever, they are kiiinda similar breeds, but still…
