Speaking of commercials…I keep waiting for this one to get pulled. It’s the Master Card commercial with the kids talking about their worst summer jobs. And at the end the one kid says:
“Hey, it beats pumping my dad for cash…”
The first time I saw that, my friends and I just looked at eachother and immediately burst out in laughter. I mean, I’m familiar with the phrase “pumping” someone for cash, but it still founds funny.
Especially when it involves incest.

What is your take on the “vintage” Vince Carter Nike commercials ?
The video appears to be actual hand-held video footage from various basketball games from the 70s. The first one I saw, shot outside, looks like a re-enactment with period costumes. However, after watching the second commercial it looks like they added Carter to the footage ala Forest Gump. They are damn cool either way and I never flick the station if those commercials are on.
I just find that one offensive to slackers worldwide.

The guy running through the fence is Rodney McCray who was playing for the Vancouver Canadians of the PCL at the time. The fence is at Nat Bailey Stadium.
