I’m now a little more glad that I decided to not go to my niece’s wedding tomorrow. I could avoid the storm by going, but I don’t know if I’d be able to get back.
Zsofia, it looks like some airlines are waiving fees for flight rescheduling (not that makes up for the rest of the trip, I know…): http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/breaking/chi-airlines-ask-fliers-to-reschedule-due-to-big-storm-20121026,0,3996884.story
Yeah, I just saw that and called the travel agents again - this morning they counselled me to wait until the airlines released waivers, but now I’m afraid that EVERYBODY is rescheduling.
Good news - my travel agent (and I never would be using one except the tickets are a gift from my parents who use one) managed to get us on a totally comparable flight at the same time and all out of Charlotte through Atlanta. If Charlotte is all upfucked, if need be we can get our own damned selves to Atlanta. Whew. It seems like it’s going to be okay.
Atlanta to where, though? Are you still having to change in New York?
