Sadly, too many people have no idea how many humans perished during the unpleasantness that was begat by Hitler.
Guin, Hitler was certainly behind the murder of many children- and a lot of German children who were perceived as genetically not desirable- they may have been tortured but I m unaware of this (unless you include the conditions they were forced to live in).
But a psychopath who tortures and humiliates a few people pales compared to a megalomaniac who inflicted untold misery on the world and caused 55 million fatalities (Okay, it can be argued that quite a few would have happened the way the world was going).

Hitler purposefully distanced himself from violence to keep it an abstract - unlike Goebels he never visited bombing victims for instance - so he was not really interested in hearing the specifics of the die Endlösung der Judenfrage beyond knowing Himmler was ‘taking care of it’.
My copy of Gilbert’s The Holocaust has some atrocity done towards children almost on every page. Randomly flicking though, p.749;
“Six hundred Jewish boys aged from twelve to eighteen…The Kommandofuhrer and his helper beat the boys horribly to make them undress. His club broke, even, owing to that beating. So he brought another and continued the beating.”
Do you have any idea how many ordinary sane people throughout history were sent into war to obey commands to kill babies and did so without a moment’s hesitation? Any person’s mind can be bent to behave in frightening ways, some with intent, and others just circumstantially.
Hitler didn’t invent this, was not the first, will not be the last. If Hitler had killed only one baby, you’d never have heard of him.
Uh, that was my whole point. (As for torture, surely you’re aware of the hideous medical “experiments” performed at many of the camps?)
Yeah I don’t think Hitler ever raped his niece. I think she actually had feelings for him too. Not sure how old she was, though.
Did “this guy” spend 20 years assembling a political and military machine to carry out his objective? Intention and perseverance up the evil quotient significantly. Hitler had those two things in spades.
I didn’t watch the video, so I don’t know exactly how this guy stacks up, but I doubt he could match Hitler on those two points.
I don’t think it’s possible to torture any one person to death in a way that exceeds Hitler’s cruelty.
But Hitler gave the world the Volkswagen Beetle!

I guess the sexual element might up the ante in some people’s opinion. Not mine though. I mean is gassing someone or starving them to death really any less cruel than raping them? Not really. I think in a way the evil of the person who raped and killed the little girl is more personal than Hitler though, but yeah of course Hitler’s crimes are admittedly still ultimately worse.
Hitler, no question. If you have to choose, big picture always trumps little, even something as heinous as this.
Only if you remember to let it into your heart. Then you can start to make it better.
Personally? I blame the Judes.
Those who want to compare others to Hitler should keep this in mind in order to get some perspective: Not even Hitler was worse than Hitler!
