From the General Mills FAQ
*It’s not.
I live in Edmonton, and have been looking for this cereal for years - no luck. I wonder why?
However, we do seem to get every variation of “Honey Clustered Choco-Chunks of Sweetness”
Looks like its special K for me.
The new vanilla flavour is great!
I wonder if the “Recommended Daily Allowance” of all those vitamins and minerals that Total bases it’s advertising on is different in Canada than in the US. So General Mills would have to create a whole new advertising campaign - and box - for it’s claims to be valid in Canada.
Anyone have any ideas?
Just in case there was any doubt.
Canadians don’t need Total. They’ve got Shreddies - the one ceral that I would give a couple of fingers for - if I could buy it here.
I just called the consumer services rep line at General Mills – not available in Canada; I found the nutrition info for cereals high in iron & B12 at nutritiondata.self.com & identified Kellog’s ice crispies as having lots of both (You can put in your own fortification preferences & find your best substitute.)
If you just want the cereal in Canada with the most of everything (i.e. a multivitamin in a bowl with milk) ask that as a new question. . .
Still not available after 11 years?
My 11 year old wound returns. I’ll sadly go eat some Kashi go lean.
C’mon people. Haven’t heard of Amazon?
(Doesn’t say that there is no shipping to Canada.)
Yeah but that is $26 for three 10oz boxes.
People need to start an international cereal trade. People in Canada want Total from America. People in America want Oreos cereal from South Korea. We just need to find something people from South Korea want from Canada and we are set.
I read the Cerealously blog (“your most important blog of the day”), and they are constantly reviewing cereals available only in Canada, so it works both ways.
Lucky Charms oatmeal and Cinnamon Toast Crunch oatmeal – it’s enough to make me want to move to Canada.

Add me on the list! I’ve never heard of that cereal before, and to think I was excited when they brought French Toast Crunch back.
They discontinued Oreo cereal in the US about a decade ago, South Korea is the only place that sells it.
When I visit my son in Seattle I always bring a couple boxes of Shreddies.
Moved to Cafe Society. Note that this thread was started in 2006.

I console myself for the absence of Total with a cereal of my own creation - Coffee Crisp Crunch.
