Not what I saw, Trump was nearly whining when other reporters made notice of how he was looking (like a chicken). Then he relented and left Ramos in.
And I kinda agree, but Sanders has similar limitations when the contest will go to the primaries as Trump has.
If Trump is the Republican candidate then even Sanders is likely to win but I do think that Hillary will attract a lot of the republicans that can not stomach to see Trump in the White house. Because there is, believe it or not, a good number of Republicans that are reasonable.
I think it could hurt him. Megyn Kelly is popular and well liked by Fox viewers, so he better behave if he doesn’t want to lose the votes of those viewers.
I think Mr. Ramos was making statements more than asking questions, but Trump handled it in his typical rude fashion. And Trump later claimed he didn’t know who the guy was, but that’s not at all true.
Fox viewers have been shown to be more than ready to turn on Megyn Kelly in her first dustup with Trump, there’s no reason to suggest they’ll take her side this time either.
Perhaps a bigger story, though largely unnoticed, was that Trump barred a reporter from the Des Moines Register at his event, in retaliation for a negative editorial from that paper.
About Ramos: Trump showed he can’t handle criticism and resorts to bully mode whenever his wisdom is questioned. He seems a bit like Kim Jong Un in that respect, though Ramos doesn’t catch as much flak as some of the North Koreans who question Un.
It’s been clear for some time that a good number of GOPers are looking for a candidate who’s a bully and an asshole. Christie got squeezed out because he wasn’t as effective an asshole as Walker, and same thing’s happened to Walker with Trump.
Short version: in the bully/asshole sweepstakes, Trump > Walker > Christie.
Trump responded to a question posed by a reporter. If you don’t want Trump to mention Kelly, then you should be asking the reporters to stop asking Trump about Kelly.
Kelly has been very professional about the dust up over the questioning during the GOP debate. She’s not the one who’s been driving the story.
The same media outlets who falsely claimed that Trump must have been referring to Kelly’s menstruation are the ones who are trying to keep this non-feud alive and in the public eye.
I have no idea how you could possibly come to the conclusion that Trump is someone who is too emotionally fragile to be president.
Ramos was attempting to make a speech not asking a question.
Ramos had to promise to behave himself then he was allowed back in.
Trump handled it perfectly.
Trump has better be careful with Kelly.
Roger is not someone even Trump want’s to fuck with.
Someone so weak that they’re incapable of apologizing is not nearly tough enough to be president. Refusing to apologize ever is a sign of extreme weakness, not strength.
This is SOP for Trump, whose philosophy is to hit back twice as hard or several times as hard when someone hits or tries to screw him over. It keeps people from doing it again and serves as a warning to those who might decide to try it themselves.
That sounds exactly like how thin-skinned people react. Thick-skinned people generally don’t care about stuff like that, or laugh about it and brush it off.
