When I take vitamin C tablets, they’re always sour. Is this a “naturally occurring” taste? If so, do other vitamins have tastes as well?
(Also, is there a better word than “taste” to use in this situation? It looks so awkward.)

Vitamin C is also known as ascorbic acid. One of the properties of any acid is that it’s sour to taste. Also, many vitamin C tablets are citrus flavored, which would lend to its sour taste.
