So, a couple weeks back we had a bit of early snow:
For reference, the top cap of the rail is a 2x6 on the flat. The stack of snow is over a foot high. Since then, we’ve had a few warmish days that have caused the snow to slump a bit, but also a few light snowfalls that have added to it. Last week saw some warmer days, and Thursday I arrived home to find that it had slumped dramatically.
Well that looks cool. Friday it sagged further.
Okay, now this is getting silly. But wait, there’s more! Midday Saturday it seemed as if gravity might be a real force with real consequences.
But no. This morning it became clear that F=(M1+M2)C/D^2 is fake news.
When will our schools stop parroting the claims of Lamestream Science?!?
That’s heavy, man.
He was only talking about apples.
And I thought this thread was about alchemy…
Newton just didn’t have a big enough sample set. He didn’t take into account the high bonding effect of ice on Hoth.
What a fascinating series of pictures.
Kinda reminds me of one of those videos of a baby fighting sleep and losing.
What is “snow”?
It’s a white, fluffy substance that confuses kittens and puppies when they encounter it for the first time. See YouTube for further research.
But that’s not important right now.
As defined on Gilligan’s Island (in an episode where Gilligan dreamed about being a caveman): “snow is white lumpy rain.”
Actually looking at that again there might be less mass cantilevered over the edge now than there was in the last shot given the way the erstwhile top is curling underneath.
Obviously a giant snow slug. Cover it with salt before it reaches the lek below and starts laying eggs.
The snow didn’t move. The Earth tilted away from it. Prove me wrong.
I’d be less suspicious if you showed some pics from the other side.
You look at those pictures and think he’s wrong. I have an equal but opposite reaction.
Forget alchemy, he spent years searching for hidden codes in the Bible. What a waste.
