I don’t think we have a thread on this, but I feel like it’s a major issue. Unless I’m just being sucked in by sensationalist reporting? So it seems that the current Netanyahu government doesn’t like the fact that the Israeli supreme court can invalidate ruling government’s laws, but due to the lack of a constitution that would really define the separation of powers, they want to pass a law that would neuter the court. ? I’ve been watching as well, and to me it’s yet another example of how the world is taking a really odd reactionary turn.
