Well, I didn’t necessarily mean it in a bad way. I’d drive one too, especially if it had one of those red neon under-car lighting systems, and made a clicking sound when it comes to a stop.
I saw what I’d imagined on the freeway today. Three-wheeler powered by a bolted-on motorcycle, and a sexy body. I wish I knew where he got it.
Well, if it’s a nice looking bike, it’s generally not too hard to find a sexy body.
Slightly reminiscent of the Messerschmitt Bubble Car which had 2 seats and got 87 mpg in the '50s
Corbin Sparrow. They’re working on a gas powered version now.
Definitely a cuttlefish, not a penis. Or squid.
But! I did see a car recently that my only thought was “wow, that looks like a penis” and it was red, hmmm. I wonder what it was. I’m pretty sure it was a classic car, rather than anything enviromentally friendly, though. I swear it was shaped just like this, though.
92 miles per gallon of what?
Well, if it gets you from A to B.
I see that zagloba already posted that link.
I want one of these. 100 mpg, 100+ mph. There’s a Top Gear video on the site that says they cost £22,000, but Wiki says $18,000- $23,000 depending on the model. From what I can see the base model is all I’d need.
No, it was way longer in the, er, shaft. I got a muscle car vibe from it.
You need to see more penises (penii?)

Should Tuckerfan change his name to Cuttledick?
I prefer to believe it’s probably just an extreme fascination with cars, to the point where you start being reminded of them no matter what you’re looking at, whether it’s remotely appropriate or not. Like in the cartoons when Woody Woodpecker was starving, and he’d look at the walrus and see a giant hot dog or something.
I’m like that, except instead of cars it’s games. I’ll hear about some problem and think, if only I had enough ranks in such and such skill, or had a certain magic item…
As for the OP’s car, I agree it’s very cuttlefishy and not at all penisy. Johnny LA’s car looks fucking awesome, but the “iPod cool” bit makes it seem like they’re not entirely on the up-and-up, and are trying to ride Apple’s coattails.
That looks like the aftermath of a Smart Car having sex with a Motorcycle.
I like motorcycles, and I’ve like the Smart since I saw one on pre-release display about five years ago.
I saw the Carver a couple of years ago on Top Gear. I think the Top Gear video they have on their site is the same one I saw. They seem on the up-an-up. iPods are cool, and the vehicle is absolutely icebox. And Fiat wants to be 'The iPod of Cars. Just sounds like marketing to me. If Wiki is correct, we’ll just have to wait 12 months.
Have you checked out the offerings from these guys? They’re cheaper, get about the same MPG, and some of them are pretty cool looking.
I haven’t had my garage built yet, so I don’t have a workspace. And I have little time to build one. And I like the higher mileage figure for the Carver compared to the Doran:
