It it unusual for one's pupils to rapidly contract and dilate?

I’ve just spent the entire night working on a portfolio for an exam (still not finished, but I’ve got another 4 hours). Needless to say I’ve consumed a lot of caffeine (to be exact, 3 mugs of drip coffee, a large/grande sized cappuccino, with syrup and two cans of Relentless).

Anyways, when I went to deal with some of the more obvious side effects I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and I noticed that (apart from the whites of my eyes being about the same colour as my skin) my pupils were constantly shrinking and growing.

Is this a normal consequence of taking a mega dose of caffiene or could I be in trouble (or as the case may be, both)?

IANAD but I think the whites of your eyes being discolored could be bad. I think yellow eyes are associated with liver problems.

that might be a lot of coffee by your standards not for others.

often a bathroom mirror is intensely lit. depending on light and eye angles you could be getting different light intensities into your eyes causing pupils to adjust.

if the pupils are changing rapidly then you have quite a caffeine jag. lethal dose is about 80 cups and you’re far from that.

Here is a little info about Hippus.

I’ll keep an eye out for aconite.
