Is it just me or is that one of thescariest trailers of recent times, I’m not easily unnerved but…that was damn creepy, especially the old lady “freezing”.
I didn’t catch the first part of this reboot, if this trailer is representative of what’s on offer I may just have to.
I forgot to add, this seems very much in keeping with part 1. It’s hard to say how it all comes across to those who haven’t read the book (although it is not necessary to have done so to enjoy it) but this SK fan loved every minute of it. I of course know the story so I went in thinking I knew what was coming. NOT!
Even for people that have trouble with the suspension of disbelief (though why they would see such a film in the first place, I don’t know)this is just a visual, visceral treat.
I loved the first part as well- though I’ll have a special place in my heart for the miniseries (and esp Tim Curry). That scene with the old woman is chilling and it looks like they are going to do it right.
I was in Port Hope, Ontario last year to see the salmon run and I was wondering why there were so many U.S. flags all over town. Oh right…there’s another “It” movie coming out!
