Paratrooper Brigade “Folgore”…it’s an Italian paratrooper unit that’s currently, I believe, in Afghanistan. They were most famous for their actions in the battle of El Alamein, where they held off a British assault.
Thanks. An Italian friend gave me a shirt with those words and when I could not find any translation for any of the words I got nervous. Some of my friends have an extraordinary sense of humor and I was beginning to think I might be wearing a shirt that said kick me - actually something a bit more creative.
Upon searching for the entire phrase it showed sites that seemed to indicate no joke
Folgore means ‘Lightning’.
Thank you, it makes sense looking at the design on the shirt.
You’re welcome! I love the Italian translation threads. Venete, tutti Dopisti, domandate da mi più! (Come on, all you Dopistas, ask me more!)
Be careful what you ask for! I’ve got a book on the Mannlicher-Carcano rifle in PDF format, **Il 91 **I’d *love * to get translated.
No guns, please, guns give me the creeps.
