Hey, the 12th is my mother’s birthday too. She just turned 70.
My sister invited her over for dinner, but mom said she didn’t feel like it, her knee was hurting her too much. Sis put a little guilt trip on her, so she finally relented to coming over. Imagine her shock and awe when she saw me sitting there like it was perfectly normal for me to be in Florida. She was a little disappointed to find out that my brother and sister in law couldn’t make it there, though. And that made her day even better when they showed up a few hours later.

It’s interesting how often June the 12th comes up.
