I know what you mean. I get up before six on weekdays. Weeknights I’m off to bed early. But shoot, I don’t have to get up tomorrow until the kids are pulling the pilow off my heard a little after 7.
Who needs sleep anyway?
Welcome to the boards…or the boreds, as the case may be. I just got in a little while ago and I’m not a little inebriated, though apparently not enough to misspell it. I do have to get up in the morning to help a friend move but if I go to bed now I don’t think sleep will come. i hate being too bored to sleep.
My sleep is totally fucked up. Thursday I was at the hospital with my husband, and while I waited with him for hours keeping him company, I finally went to the car and took a nap. For 5 hours.
Then when I came home, I was awake… until about 4pm, at which point I went to bed. Then I woke up about 10:30pm and here I am. Bored.
Ah, boredom. Where would we humans be without it?
I should have gone to bed two hours ago, when my computer locked up while playing Civ III, but after shutting down and restarting the computer I decided to check my e-mail and see if there was anything interesting on the SDMB. Of course, since I had already decided not to work OT tomorrow I don’t have to get up at 5am. So instead of sleeping from midnight to 5 I’ll sleep from 3 to 8.

My father in law was called the “Chairman of the bored” by his budies at the implement dealer where the old boys gathered about 10:00 am every week day.
I never asked where they all went on saturday and sunday.
