It's not easy being green

Why can’t I be purple? Or silver?

It’d be a lot more fun if everyone were able to pick their own color. We need more diversity, not conformity.

What about bluebloods? Would the new color be additive or subtractive?

I’m sure my mom would object. Her favorite color was plaid, so she couldn’t be green.

Giving people the ability to change their colors like a squid or chameleon would be fun. That’s long been part of my genetic engineering wish list.

Green? No.

Blue? Maybe.

Purple? Hell, yeah

Silver? Prepare to sparkle like shitty vampires…
Not 'cause I think it would cure racism, but just because it would look pretty.

There’s a kind of anti-barking collar where every time the dog barks, it sprays a burst of citronella, and the surprise of the scent distracts the dog from barking. It still wants to bark, but it gets confused for a moment and starts thinking about something else.

This proposal might have a similar effect on racists. Sure, eventually people will return to their old ways, but the skin-tone thing will be so confusing that they’ll focus on that instead of on other stuff, at least for a little while, maybe.

Also, hilarious. I’m pushing the button.

I did this once, actually. It was funny. Well, not the whole world, really, but the whole room. About an hour after my second bowl of chili…

I voted “No”. It wouldn’t solve anything, just cause the focus to change to something else - length or style of hair, clothing, lineage, etc.
