While I do believe there’s more to this story that’s worth exploring, Jerry was afforded his chance to face his accusers but chose silence instead.
Well, he’s not choosing silence now. Of course, he’s not under oath and subject to cross-examination.
He wants a champion to take on those forces of injustice that have convicted but not crushed him. Sounds like a perfect job for our boy SA!!

Actually, in some ways, I don’t think he’s actually lying. Oh, when he says he didn’t molest those kids. He knows he did it. But I think on some level, Sandusky truly doesn’t believe he did anything wrong. I honestly think that he believes that he was helping those kids, that what he did was right. I think he’s that deluded, and he thinks that they actually had a relationship that was normal and perfectly healthy.
He’s that deluded.
Saw an interview with Bobby Joe Long, after his arrest for serial rape\murder\kidnapping…said he didn’t think he had done anything criminal. And this was AFTER he confessed to the crimes.
Reminds me a bit of that.
This just in: Jerry Sandusky cannot keep his mouth shut to save his life. Because if there’s anything a judge loves more than sentencing a serial child molester to prison, it’s sentencing an unrepentant serial child molester to prison.

Actually, Sandusky’s best bet (it’s not a good bet, but perhaps the least bad one) may be not to talk about he’s been victimized by false accusations, but to express his regret that his good friend Joe Paterno has been hurt by this, and how enemies of Joe Paterno were eager to sink him by any and all means, and isn’t it a shame that a great guy like Joe Paterno had to give up what he loved most, what he was best at, in a flurry of false accusations…
Paterno-fellators like Starving Artist will love this and defend Sandusky as a step toward defending and redeeming their beloved “JoePa”. Of course the accusations are false, JoePa would never let stuff like that happen at his school!
