Folks, he really seems to believe he’s right- despite many different examples of video evidence showing people of the same size doing the same thing in the same position.
Does he really believe it, or is he just pretending to for the sake of appearance?
Breaking Old News: Obvious Troll is obvious – of course he loves this thread, it keeps him in the limelight. That said, yeah most responses are of the PALATR type…doesn’t matter, it’s still attention.
Nothing stupid about it. I determined even back last January that that boy wasn’t raped, but were you dipshits happy about that and willing to look at the evidence in hopes I was right?
Oh, hell, no! You were determined as ever that that kid suffered the most horrendous raping in the history of mankind and you weren’t about to be dissuaded of it. No, you were absolutely certain, based on nothing but what McQueary had told the Grand Jury, that Sandusky was anally raping that boy and that Joe Paterno knew all about it, was probably doing the same himself, and that he and all of Penn State’s administrative body were engaged in a massive cover up to keep Sandusky’s serial child rape hidden for the protection of their school, its football program, and their own likely pedophilic activities as well.
And now here we are nine months later, and there’s zero evidence of a cover up by anyone. In fact there is zero evidence that anyone on campus knew Sandusky was raping kids at all. And the rape you were all so certain fnrom McQueary’s testimony happened that you called me a pervert for even questioning? The Sandusky trial jury said it was’t persuasive and acquitted Sandusky of that very charge which you were so certain of.
So, you people were wrong about it all. Every bit of it. And now you want to crow about whether or not everyone agrees with me as to whether the rape was “possible?” Or you want to make the utterly stupid on its face argument that not a single person in Pennsylvania agrees with me on Paterno and the outrage perpetrated upon Penn State?
You got nuthin’! You’ve been wrong all through this thread and your lamentations remain music to my ears.
We understand that grieving takes a long time, and everyone goes at their own pace. But it’s been a year and you’re still stuck in “denial.”
There’s four more stages of grief to work through if you’re going to get better.
Then again, you’re still stuck in denial 50 years after being forced to play Hide the Soap with your camp counselor, so I understand this could take a little while. Just know that we’re here for you if you want to talk.
What a strange fucking think to hang your paper towel tube … I mean … hat on. Yeah, sure, Sandusky may well have molested dozens of kids, including that kid in the shower, but since the jury didn’t have enough evidence to declare that actual penetration took place that one time, you can’t call it legitimate rape so every thing is sunshine and lollipops.
Of course, this ignores the fact that you’re completely delusional regarding the notion that there’s been no proof of a cover up, but I gave up on your sad delusions ages ago.
Bonus points for intimating that everyone in the thread *wanted *the kid to be raped. I really enjoyed that one the most.
My favorite one- when he says that JoePa should have done more at the time, in order to protect Penn State. Not to protect children, but to protect the school.
Guess who’s changing his tune on the Louis Freeh report?
That’s right, guys. Bob Costas.
The same Bob Costas that won an Emmy for his revealing interview of Jerry Sandusky.
The same Bob Costas that hosted the Olympics and openly campaigned for us as a society to force the NCAA to shut down Penn State football before the first kickoff.
It is not easy to change Bob’s mind, but to his credit he is getting there. And he is not alone. Again, for anyone willing to listen, this is happening. There will come a time in the not-too-distant future when everyone stops for a minute to reconsider their positions. By then, the wars over intellectual and yes even ethical bragging rights will have already been waged and won. Can you mentally maneuver your mind to stay ahead of the trends? Or are you more along the lines of those that rush to judgment to claim an early position and closing your eyes and clenching your fists and stubbornly hanging on for dear life no matter what comes?
If you are somewhat open-minded and willing to reconsider, a great place to get started is with the two-page executive summary that presents the “reasonable conclusions” drawn from the review of 430 interviews, 3.5 million documents and emails, and about a half dozen transcripts of testimony from grand jury investigations. Read those “reasonable conclusions” and play devil’s advocate by taking a skeptical approach to your critical review. See if you catch onto the same discoveries of unsupportive evidence, blind leaps of logic and inferences that would never be taken seriously in a court of law. There is a reason why Louis Freeh made himself available to the public for answers only 55 minutes after releasing the report – he knew nobody would have time to read 267 pages and call him out on all the bulls#!t.
Ah yes, I believe it was Andy Warhol’s little brother Vanil who said “in the not-too-distant future, everyone will stop, collaborate and reconsider their position for 15 minutes”
Dunno, but when I google “paterno costas” I see a lot of shit like “Costas: Freeh report is ‘damning’ for Paterno” and “Bob Costas on Joe Paterno’s Shattered Legacy” and “Bob Costas Calls for Penn State to Shut Down Football Program,” so I’m guessing he hasn’t been a Brawny-tube-fucking apologist up to now.
