iTunes and slow downloads

I’ve noticed over the past few weeks that iTunes downloads are not nearly as fast as they used to be.

Thinking it could be my service provider, I did a speed test and got 19.5 Mbps download speed.

Is anyone else noticing a slowdown? Last week’s Archer (20 minute show) took just over 20 minutes for me!? I’m renting a movie now and it says it’ll be complete in 2 hours.

I’m running a newer MacBook with Lion and updated iTunes.

Bump, because I’m curious if I’m the only one getting this.

I purchased Ken Burn’s Prohibition series and it says I have 37 hours left for episode one. 37 hours?! Really? Scratch that, it now says 38 hours.

WTF, I’m guessing it is a problem on Apple’s end.

Am I really the only one?
