I've finally seen Batman Begins

Best theory I have is Bruce Wayne talks like that to disguise his voice.

I thought Two-Face was completely tacked-on and meaningless. Why did he turn to evil so easily?

I’ve heard quite a few people say they thought he overdid it with the gravely voice or were annoyed by it. I thought he purposely did it as a way to disguise his voice. A lot of people knew him as Bruce Wayne and if he talked normally people may be like “Bruce? Is that you?”
I suppose if you’re trying to disguise your voice as Batman gravely is the way to go. Sure beats a french accent or a real high squeaky voice.

I loved Batman Begins. Going to rewatch the Dark Knight tonight in Imax. On first viewing I found Dark Knight to be as good as Batman Begins in almost all ways, and a little bit other in others. Fun stuff, for sure.

Even more amazing, check out his performance in “True Romance”. Unreal!

I just saw Batman Begins and I fall into the voice-hater category. OK, so he wants to disguise it, but looked he try to sound a little less like a mentally challenged heavy smoker with a disorder that did not allow him to completely control his lips? Honestly, it was just annoying.

Now I want to make a video of Batman dialogue overdubbed with Tom Waits songs. Maybe if I had the time/software.

Actually I didn’t mind his voice because I accept that it’s to hide his voice.

Has anyone else noticed that Liam Neeson is turning into Anthony Hopkins? His character in BB was a classic Hopkins role.
