I have one in each eye, and they’ve been there for a long, long, long time. Probably 20 years or more. If they’re an actual medical problem that should be corrected, I’d be mighty surprised.
I have one in the upper-right side of my right eye–just a little greyish dot. It’s been there for about 10 years now. I don’t usually notice it anymore unless I’m looking at something that’s white or very pale colored that makes it stand out.
That’s the thing they do instead of the old dilate your eyes, then you wander around with giant old lady sunglasses on for the rest of the day, right? Cause I paid for it and it was well worth it.
I have one in my right eye that looks like a short tailed ebola. Best seen on a white background, like snow. I too, can do the lno trick, and move my eye around and watch it slowly catch up. I haven’t named it yet.
I have many. whenever they dilate my eyes and look inside they say: “wow, you have a lot of floaters.”
