I've got your IMDB link right here

I completely agree.

You guys aren’t even trying. You’re all just a bunch of meanies

Oh, link link link!

Enough of your link – if you’re such a link to link the link (what, are you afraid your link is gonna link?) then you don’t deserve to know link. Nobody else has a link with link link, so link?

LINK

Jeez, guys.

Ok.

Blow me, bitch.

Damn, bitch. But yeah, you’re right.

And the OP is so right about this it hurts. It’s particularly incomprehensible because it involves more work for the retard writing the post, and more work for anyone who bothers to read. The solution for the irritated reader is to recognize that anyone dumb enough to link to an IMDB page and not even give the title is certainly not going to be making any worthwhile comment.

What the Giles’ Post are you talking about, here? It’s clearly easier for me to type a four-letter word than it is to type a nine-letter poster name and try to spell it right.

And this whole thread proves it’s worth clicking the link to get a worthwhile comment.

So THBBPTHBPT to you!

Which is why this whole thread has just been a series of unread links for me - I’m sure all the titles are very amusing and all, but I haven’t clicked on a single one.

I think I broke the clicker on my mouse.

Your loss, 'cos it was really funny.

I don’t understand what the problem is. I just open a new tab. Really, it’s no big deal.

My mileage varied

Hey, I use tabs for stuff too - but the particular behaviour noted
a) interrupts the flow of a discussion to go to another site just to see a title.
b) subjects me to IMDB’s new suckass layout more than neccessary

I’ve no objection to an imdb link if it’s evidence for a debate or a point of discussion. It’s specifically using an information-free imdb link instead of typing the title that I object to.

Do you object to the same practice with respect to Amazon links as well?

Well, now I do!

Okay, this? Damn funny. I actually heard you say that MrDibble.

I guessed where this thread was going as soon as I read the OP.

See, folks, it’s not hard at all.

It is annoying.

The period has a link also.

It’s even easier just to type in the movie name than to link to it. Forcing someone to go to a website just to see a movie title is pretty lame. Not everyone has a high speed connection.

Seems to me Mr. Dibble and his followers are just one in a few with no idea of what funny really is. This post made me realize why I love this board all over again.
