Alright, Someone once told me that I would really like The Beastly Beatitudes of Balthsasar B (sp?); however, I tried to start it and I did not understand what was happening at all because of the author’s style. I read The Saddest Summer of Samuel S today (I thought I’d try and tackle something smaller), but there were still things I couldn’t grasp. Is there anything I should know about Donleavy’s writing style that would help me to grasp his works better. Furthermore, I have the two works mentioned above as well as The Onion Eaters , which one should I read next?
