Get someone to go with you just once to get the hang of things, then you’ll likely be all set. Most (even smaller places) have video monitors showing the current number being drawn. You don’t have to hear them at all. (I frequently wear headphones and listen to music while I play). Also, get there early and get a sheet that tells what games are being played when. If they are all paper games (the only way to go) you can mark the sheet in the appropriate pattern in pen ahead of time. That way you can easily see if you have the correct pattern!
