You might read the thread before forming such a vehement opinion on the subject.
As I pointed out, we’re not talking about strip searches. We’re talking about people being searched in their clothes or underwear.
I had people refuse to cooperate with a search. And I never had to kill or disfigure anyone.
I’d protest verbally, then cooperate, and then sue the pants off everyone. If I was a woman (especially one with a history of sexual abuse) put into the same situation with a male guard I’d probally have a very different reaction. I’d also get a hell off alot more sympathy too. The only time I’ve ever seen Nancy Grace side with a suspected criminal was there was an incident in the Midwest (Ohio I think?) where a woman was forcibily (eg held down and had her clothes cut off her) stripped searched by several male & female guards on video. Grace was completely outraged that there where men present and was pretty clear she thought it was inexcusable.
