Jamcam and multimedia memory cards

Since I never learn my lesson I am looking at a Fry’s ad for a dirt cheap digital cam, a Jamcam 3.0. It’s so cheap as to almost be disposable but I have never seen “multimedia” memory cards. Smart and flash memory yes but not this. Anyone ever use one of these?

I know I should pony up the bucks for a proper digital cam but haven’t found the price/performance ratio I want yet.

Here http://www.sandisk.com/consumer/mmc.asp is a link to the SanDisk site and a Multimedia Card.

They are more compact than Compact Flash cards, Compact Compact Flash?, and IIRC a little more expensive per megabyte.
