  1. Did James Woods just say something akin to “I’d really like to talk to you, ma’am, but maybe you’d lke to make a donation?” while answering phones during the America telethon?

and

  1. I heard a rumor that Mr Woods contacted the FBI and told them he’d been on the same boston-LA flight a week before the attacks and swore he saw the terrorists on board, plotting. “I’m a method actor. I study people for a living,” he is rumored to have said. “THESE were the guys!” Anyone else hear this story? Any truth to it?

Thanks for the info! As for #1, I just keep envisioning Chris Farley-esque characters calling in donations and say, “Jeez! Jack Nicholson! Man, remember when you said ‘Hold it between your legs’? Man, that was great!” I wonder how much $$ they’ll pull in tonight…
