Japanese Slots?

Does anyone know the name for a type of Japanese slot machine (for lack of a better description) where, as I recall, the goal is to win as many steel ball (like, ball bearings) as possible? I tried Googling, but I’m not finding it. I want to say it was Pokeno. but that is a different game altogether. And, IIRC, I want to say it was like a cross between a slot machine and/or a vertical pinball machine? A little help here, please!

Pachinko

Pachinko machine.

Had one when I was a kid, that we brought back from Japan.

Edit: Beaten! See what I get for caffeine deprivation?

Hey, that was my first quick answer. You’ll get me next time. A couple weeks ago I posted in wonder about how quickly questions get answered around here, now I was able to pull one off. Yea me!

A quickie every 13 years! Way to go!

I’ve got one. Its not working and has just been sitting around for years. I tried to get it working once long ago, and was completely befuddled by the strange combination of voltages, mechanical oddity and dis-intuitivness.

I set it aside, and it remains there to this day.

That’s it! Thanks!
